In an unprecedented move, the U.S. Commerce Department has leveraged blockchain technology by uploading its GDP data onto the Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana networks, among others. While crypto prices flounder, dropping up to 5%, Uncle Sam seems determined to solidify its role as a blockchain pioneer. With collaborations from Chainlink and Pyth, this initiative aims to enhance trust through verified distribution of governmental data within the decentralized finance landscape.
