First US Bank-Backed Stablecoin Launches as RWA & Tokenization Surge!

In a landmark move for both banking and crypto, two U.S. banks—Custodia and Vantage—have successfully launched and tested the nation’s first bank-issued, dollar-backed stablecoin, called Avit. This breakthrough signals a major shift after years of regulatory pushback and signals growing institutional embrace of digital assets. Unlike traditional stablecoins, Avit was built collaboratively on Ethereum with full U.S. dollar backing and regulatory compliance, offering speed, transparency, and trust. With political tides turning and blockchain innovation accelerating, this could mark the beginning of a new era where American banks take the reins in crypto-finance.
